Part of the ZNET Mission is to provide leadership and education for our community. ZNET Uralla has two main focus areas for education. 

Community Education

Community education with events like training workshops on refrigeration and curtain making, food preserving, mending and making, growing food, information stalls at local events, and special information nights on topical energy matters.

Community members can come to the library on a Thursday afternoon to get help with questions about power bills, solar or home improvements.

Primary and Middle School Education

Primary & Middle school science program with St Josephs Primary &  Uralla Central School, in conjunction with the CSIRO Science in Schools Program. 

We are also planning to work with one of the local preschools.

Education

Part of the Z-NET Mission is to provide leadership and education for our community. Z-NET Uralla has three main focus areas for education:
–    Community education with events like training workshops on refrigeration and curtain making, information stalls at local events, and special information nights on topical energy matters. We also encourage any of our Shire residents to call in at the Z-NET Uralla Office, in the Community Centre on Hill Street. Click here for office hours and contact details.

–    Pre-school program with local childcare provider which will be developed in February 2017 to coincide with energy review of the Centre.
