Destination Uralla Launch

Z-NET Uralla is working in partnership with a broad range of businesses to improve energy efficiency through targeted interventions, and establishing ways of measuring progress. We are helping businesses do the sums on installing renewable energy like rooftop solar, while looking at ways to promote and build the business precinct as a Z-NET tourism destination and model for other regional communities.

Our first business project – Destination Uralla, was launched in December 2016 by Adam Marshall, our local State Member, at a breakfast co-hosted by the Regional Australia Bank. Destination Uralla was funded by Murray-Darling Basin Regional Economic Diversification Program. The project helped 20 businesses mange their energy and investigate solar options; it was completed in June 2017.

Z-NET Uralla will continue providing support to local businesses through our volunteer efforts and other resources as they become available.
