Z-NET Uralla News

This is an update for people who have solar panels (or thinking about it). Some companies are now offering plans that have a more generous feed-in tariff than the standard 8c/kWh. Recently a Z-NET Member renegotiated their plan to one that offered 20c/kWh, which will have an estimated benefit of an extra $700 over the coming year (based on 5 kW system and two people in the house). This is a useful amount of money  – well worth the time to research options and make the change. If you want to check out the offers yourself, you can start at energymadeeasy.gov.au or contact the local providers. This better return drastically reduces the payback time on your solar system. And if you just want to renegotiate your power bill (no solar) this new website helps guide you through the process https://poweringforward.energy.gov.au/
If you don’t have solar and would like to see how it stacks up – contact Trish projects(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)zneturalla.org.au or call in to the Library 2-4pm on a Thursday.
