ZNET happenings in Feb 2021

STREET STALL for ZNET URALLA: 

The week of 22nd to 27th Feb is our annual ZNET Street Stall. If you have some time to assist to help man the stall during the week for a morning or afternoon please email projects(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)zneturalla.org.au and let Trish know. ZNET does not have a membership fee but do ask that members contribute some of their time to support ZNET. Baking, potting out some plants or making jam all would be a wonderful contribution.   

 

CURTAIN MAKING WORKSHOP

On Saturday 13th February between 12:30 and 4:00 pm we will be having our next Curtain making workshop at the Community Centre in HIll Street Uralla. This is free and we also supply the insulated backing material for any Uralla residents.We will have people to help if you don’t have experience with sewing. LET”S TALK ABOUT WATER UPDATE
Do you help run a business in Uralla? You’re invited to a free business breakfast on Wednesday 24 February, 7-8:30 am, Top Pub. Together with Regional Australia Bank and Uralla Shire Business Chamber, we’ll be discussing options for water security, sustaining business through drought and other challenges.

It’s been really valuable running our water security workshops – great feedback on a range options from water recycling to rainwater tanks to bores! It is important that everyone has the chance to have their say – if your club or group would like to host a short workshop, please email We’re also running one-on-one interviews in the first week of March and small focus groups at the end of April in conjunction with UNSW Global Water institute.
