ZNET - Uralla
1. Biodiversity Studies:
We are planning to go back to 3 of our original sites that we did biodiversity studies for on Thursday the 15th October and Friday the 16th October. It will be fantastic to see how they have recovered and what changes have happened. We will be doing Chiswick on the 15th, Bareena and 2 Uralla Council sites on Friday 16th. 2. Firewood Collectors Course:
On Saturday the 17th October at 1:30pm will be having another Sustainable firewood Collectors Course at Scott Greens property in Balala. This is open to anyone who collects wood either to sell or for your own personal use. Please register with Trish
3. ZNET – Uralla AGM:
The ZNET Uralla AGM will be held on Saturday 24th October at 2:00 pm. This will be held at Bob Crouch’s home and again we will have a limit on numbers,however we will also be setting up the meeting on Zoom so if you are interested in attending either in person or on zoom please contact Trish so we can send the details and/or links to Zoom.
4. ZNET – at the library:
Once again Trish is spending Thursday afternoons at the library from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. If you would like to come along and get information about your power bill or other questions then you can email Trish and make a booking or make a booking with the librarian.

For all of you who love to grow food don’t miss this opportunity to learn and observe from Banded Bee Farm; Sunday morning Sept 27th 10:30 – 12:30, 192 Dumaresq Rd, Saumarez Ponds with a gold coin donation. 3. Let’s Talk about Water Project:
Thank you to the urban and rural Uralla residents who joined conversations about protecting our water supply or took action over the past year during the difficult time of drought and arsenic contamination. We invite you to be involved as we dig deeper into understanding community ideas about water security in the Let’s Talk About Water project.
We’re working hard on producing information resources and planning our focus groups for rural and town residents, business owners, community groups, sporting clubs and more.
