Free trees are available for Uralla Shire residents to collect from the Uralla Co-op this Friday and Saturday, between 9am and 2pm each day.
Residents will have the choice of Eucalyptus gregsoniana, Hakea salicifolia, Leptospermum brevipes and Malaleuca ericifolia as part of the Greening Uralla project. All four varieties have been chosen of good options for domestic plantings to shade homes from the western sun.
There will be a limit of two plants per household, to give everyone a chance to participate.
The Uralla Co-op yard is located next to Pulse Gym.
